A banner that expresses friendship towards the Rom population with splendid portraits of Romnì, painted by French artist William- Adolphe Bouguereau.

An open letter proposed by writer Vanna Cercenà, who invites us to dedicate ourselves with all our might to the persecution of the Roms. The open letter has already been undersigned by numerous artists and musicians and sent to the information channels. You undersign it too, and expose the banner in the home page of your website. "This website is a friend of the Roms”. It began with the cooperation and the anti-racial affinity that unites writer Alberto Melis and Gruppo EveryOne.

Open letter on taking the fingerprints of Rom children and other abuses.
"As writers of children and young people’s books, we express great concer for the absurd initiative taken by the Minister of the Interior which is that of identification of Rom minors by recording their fingerprints.
Too often, when we read about past histories, we find laws that “were supposed to have been for the wellbeing” of the alienated children who had no representation, were the cause of great injustice and discrimination.
If we want that these little Rom children do not live among mice, we must try to integrate them, with their families, send them to school, take them away from their degrading situation, instead of creating barricades in wanting to give them more dignified conditions.
If the above mentioned measure will be taken, one that we believe violates the principles that regulate civil co-existence like the Constitution, the Convention on Child Rights, approved by the United Nations in1989 and ratified by Italy in 1991, we cannot help but feel very uncomfortable in proposing to our little readers, words that speak of support, of encounters among peoples, or narrate about violence and injustice undergone by their peers as if they were incidents of the past that can never again happen.
We do not want to belong to a State that one day must apologize to its minority groups.”
